With all the focus on the start of Oklahoma State's 2019 season, we've slacked a little bit on our recruiting coverage. So, it's time to play catch up and take a look at the most recent offers OSU has handed out.(We're going to do this in class order instead of chronological)La'damian WebbThe JUCO running back from Jones County Junior College picked up his OSU offer back on Aug Jalen Catalon Jersey. 21. The Cowboys are the latest program to offer the 2020 prospect, bringing his total offer list to five including Arkansas State, Louisiana, Ole Miss and Troy. At the moment, Ole Miss is considered the favorite. Webb was originally a class of 2018 signee with Mississippi State, but was academically ineligible. There was some weirdness that lead to him sitting out that season making 2019 his "freshman" year Koilan Jackson Jersey. Big things are expected of the former Alabama Mr. Football after he racked up 4,982 yards and 76 touchdowns during his final two prep seasons for Beauregard in Opelika, Alabama.OSU going the JUCO route here isn't terribly surprising. Their options are running back in the 2020 class are dwindling. Of the 10 four-year backs they've offered for 2020, OSU only really looks to be in the running for twoIsaiah Jacobs and Daniyel Ngatabut not the favorite for any. Looking at the current running back situation, it would be good for the Cowboys to bring in at least one with the class.Pat CooganFor OSU's latest offensive line offer, Charlie Dickey went all the way up to Chicago for class of 2021 three-star Pat Coogan.OSU's offer came on Aug. 23, and brought Coogan's total to nine. That includes Cincinnati, Duke, Illinois, Iowa State, Kent State, Syracuse, Toledo and Wyoming https://www.aroutletstore.com/Jake_Yurachek_Jersey-79 ."This was a huge offer for me," Coogan told Marshall Levenson of GoPokes "It's an amazing opportunity being in the Big 12 conference, it's an honor. It also opens up an entire new region for my recruitment and not just the mid-west where I'm from but the state of Oklahoma allows me to open up where I'm looking."Coogan fits the mold OSU has for lineman; big and versatile. Coogan is 6-foot-5 and 280 pounds entering his junior season. Last year, he had success at both right tackle and left guard.Coogan is expected to make a visit to Stillwater sometime during the season. He has previously visited Illinois and is working on scheduling visits to Duke, Iowa State and possibly Syracuse.Jayshon PowersWhen it comes to class of 2022 running backs, OSU is hoping to find themselves in a similar situation as they have for 2020, by handing out a scholarship opportunity to their fourth running back recruit. While Powers doesn't have a 247 recruiting profile yet, we do know a few things about him.OSU is getting in early by being the first Power-5 offer for the 5-10 back from Garland, Texas. While he primarily plays running back, he also played safety, linebacker, receiver, and worked as a return specialist last season... as a freshman.Powers will certainly be one to keep an eye on moving forward.
